This is a Clarke commissioned base. It is embossed with the Clarke trademark and has Clarke's patented design where the fairy lamp shade would rest. While not confirmed, the base is likely a product of Molineaux & Webb

Complete Molineaux & Webb table setting with flower vases in the form of castle turrets and motes to serve as flower rings. The fairy lamp base is marked Clarke and support a complimentary opalescent shade of unconfirmed attribution.

The Molineaux & Webb flower ring is embossed with the Rd number29780, registered by Molineaux Webb,  July 14, 1885. Resting on the castellated rim is a Clarke opalescent lamp cup. While a good match, it is unconfirmed that the flower ring was designed to be paired with a fairy lamp.
